Device integration
Connect analyzers over ASTM, HL7, and serial protocols with per-device configuration and identity mapping.
Laboratory Integration Platform
ILabBridge captures results directly from laboratory instruments, normalizes them to standard codes, and delivers them to your clinical systems — reliably, securely, and without manual re-entry.
One platform for device connectivity, result delivery, and operational oversight.
Connect analyzers over ASTM, HL7, and serial protocols with per-device configuration and identity mapping.
Map instrument codes to LOINC and UCUM so every result arrives in a consistent, standards-based shape.
Deliver structured results as FHIR to your downstream systems, with automatic retries and delivery tracking.
Maintain patient records, medical history, and reference ranges to give every result clinical context.
Run multiple laboratories from one deployment, each with isolated data, users, roles, and subscription limits.
Every access and change is recorded in an audit log, with encryption for sensitive data at rest.
The building blocks your laboratory relies on every day — configured, monitored, and governed from one console.
Standards-based on every side of the integration — no proprietary middleware to maintain.
TCP/IP (host + port) and serial RS-232 (COM port, baud rate, parity, stop bits, handshake) connections managed by the on-site agent.
ASTM E1394 / LIS2-A2 record parsing (header, patient, order, result, comment) and HL7 v2.x messages over MLLP.
FHIR R4 DiagnosticReport / Observation / Specimen bundles inbound and outbound, with LOINC and UCUM coding applied per result.
A lightweight on-premise agent connects instruments and forwards messages to the cloud over a durable queue; the cloud API handles processing, storage and delivery.
Vendor-agnostic: any analyzer that speaks ASTM or HL7 can be onboarded by configuring its connection, protocol and identity mapping. Manufacturers such as Roche, Sysmex, Abbott, Siemens and Beckman Coulter are onboarded the same way — no vendor-specific build required.
From instrument to clinical system in three steps.
Register each instrument and its protocol. The on-site agent links analyzers to the cloud securely.
Incoming payloads are parsed, validated against your test catalogue, and mapped to standard codes and units.
Normalized results are sent to your EHR or LIMS as FHIR, with retry handling and full delivery visibility.
Common outcomes laboratories put in place in their first weeks.
Capture results straight from the bench and route them to the EHR automatically — no transcription, no re-keying, fewer errors.
Turn heterogeneous instrument output into coded, standards-based results your downstream systems accept without rework.
Export normalized results to CSV, Excel or PDF, email scheduled reports, and deliver results as FHIR to the systems behind your dashboards and quality programs.
See each analyzer's live status, get alerted when one goes quiet, and reconnect or check it remotely from the portal.
Laboratory results are patient data. This is how ILabBridge protects them on every plan, with extra controls for organizations that need them.
Every request is limited to the signed-in user's own laboratory, so one lab never sees another lab's patients, results or analyzers.
All traffic uses HTTPS. Patient personal details (names, date of birth, contact details, national IDs, medical history) and stored passwords for your mail server and connected systems are encrypted in the database.
Two-factor authentication with one-time backup codes, automatic lockout after repeated wrong passwords, and remote sign-out of sessions on other devices.
Require two-factor or single sign-on with your own identity provider, allow access only from your networks, sign out idle users, and set password expiry and reuse rules.
Enterprise planReview who signed in and what changed, and decide how long deleted records and audit logs are kept.
Enterprise planEach lab's on-site Agent has its own credentials, stored encrypted on the lab PC, and can only send results for its own laboratory. Its connection to the cloud can be encrypted with TLS.
What laboratories usually ask before they start.
Any analyzer that sends results over ASTM (E1394 / LIS2-A2) or HL7 v2, over the network (the analyzer connects to ILabBridge, or ILabBridge connects to it) or over an RS-232 serial cable, including serial-to-network converters. Each analyzer is recognized by the serial number it reports.
Only the ILabBridge Agent: a small Windows service on a PC that can reach your analyzers. One script installs it, and it connects out to ILabBridge, so nothing on the internet needs to reach into your network. Everything else runs in the browser.
The Agent keeps running with its last known analyzer settings and keeps watching your analyzers. A result it can't pass on isn't confirmed to the analyzer, so ASTM analyzers keep it and send it again.
ILabBridge delivers verified results as HL7 FHIR R4 (DiagnosticReport and Observation, coded with LOINC and UCUM) or as HL7 v2 messages (ORU^R01 over MLLP) — or both — on the Professional plan and above. If your system accepts neither, contact us.
Yes. The whole portal is available in English and Arabic, with a right-to-left layout for Arabic, and each user can switch language at any time.
Yes. Create an account and you start on the Free plan, with no payment card needed. Larger plans add more analyzers, users and features; contact us to discuss them.
On the Enterprise plan: your name, logo and colours on the portal, the sign-in page and emails, with emails sent from your own mail server.
Create your account, add your analyzers in the portal, install the Agent on a lab PC, then match each analyzer to the serial number it reports. Results start flowing as soon as an analyzer sends them.
Tell us about your laboratory and we'll get back to you within one business day.
